I am Peter Murithi Douglas, a sinner saved by God’s grace alone. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education (Arts) – Geography and Business Studies from the University of Kabianga. In September 2024, I joined iServe Africa, and I am currently serving at Teule Kenya.
Serving at Teule Kenya
Teule Kenya is a Child-Care Institution (CCI) focused on rescuing, training, and reintegrating vulnerable children into the community. My ministry roles include:
- Leading children and staff devotions.
- Engaging in children’s ministry at FGCK Loitoktok.
- Organizing and conducting community outreaches in Loitoktok.
Through the iServe Africa MTC and book reading, I have been able to know that man is desperate sinners who cannot save themselves but always look at Christ for redemption and sanctification. Also I have come to appreciate that being born again is not by our own works but it’s the work of God who has helped us to be dead to sin but living through Christ Jesus our Savior.
Over the past six months at Teule Kenya, I have experienced Christ’s transforming work in me. Daily interaction with the Gospel has reaffirmed the truth that we all need a Savior to rescue us from sin and prepare us for eternity.
I am grateful for the opportunity iServe Africa has given me and the great support and mentorship which are much important in my ministry journey through this year. My desire is that I may continue to grow as I serve Him and also that I may continually keep on teaching the right doctrine and teach it faithfully.
